TYPES OF SANDBLASTING MEDIA

Garnet

Crushed Glass

Crushed Glass

Same mesh as crushed glass. Environmentally safe and non-toxic, it contains less than 1% silica. Great for coating prep, it leaves an extra course finish due to it's hard and jagged texture. The most effective and quickest stripper we currently stock. We mainly use it for thick metals, heavy rust removal and is great for powder coating applications.

Crushed Glass

Our medium weight jack of all trades, 40/70 mesh is great for virtually everything and it is 100% recycled bottle glass which virtually doesn't contain any of the OSHA identified heavy/toxic metals and less than 1% silica. From wood and fiberglass to thin automotive sheet metal, this is the primary media used in our mobile blasting operations.

Glass Bead

Soda Blasting

Soda Blasting

Very fine 70/140 mesh contains 0% silica. We mainly use this sandblasting media to clean stainless steel because it is non-ferrous and will not cross contaminate but can be used for anything. It is better for suiting for cleaning than stripping and produces a very bright and almost polished sheen.

Soda Blasting

Soda sandblasting media is essentially Arm & Hammer baking soda. Great for engine rebuilds and fire, mold and water damage restoration. Soda blasting cannot be performed dustless so it requires extra cleanup.
